Gene Feature Overview

Strain Pseudomonas aeruginosa PAO1 (Stover et al., 2000)
GCF_000006765.1|latest
Locus Tag
PA1014
Name
wapB
Replicon chromosome
Genomic location 1097296 - 1098288 (+ strand)
Transposon Mutants 2 transposon mutants in PAO1
Transposon Mutants in orthologs 7 transposon mutants in orthologs
CommentResponsible for transfer of the terminal glucose residue to the outer core oligosaccharide in P. aeruginosa PAO1 LPS. In a knockout-mutant, the chemical structure of the LPS extracted from it lacked the terminal glucose residue as compared to the core oligosaccharide structure of the wild type strain PAO1.
